whether fft architecture is fpga independent?
do fpgas have fft library.i wish to implement 128 point fft using 8 parallel radix2 butterflies and really confused with the architecture design.

If you install the Xilinx ISE development software (either ISE Foudation or the free ISE WebPACK), it includes an FFT core that you can configure and drop into your project. More info and a data sheet:

Xilinx cores are generally optimized for Xilinx FPGAs. Some of them are also encrypted so you can't even try to move them to a different brand FPGA.
