Power Filter Solution
Hello brothers!
At moment I finish a small project with one +24VDC DC motor. Because of the noise level, my microcontroller was reset many times, then I add a single PI filter for supress noise interferences.
This filter function very nice, but now I start my serial production and need define the core characteristics and the windings.
After some hours in internet I found my local supplier of ferrite core, then I choose one model with the follow characteristics:
Core model: Toroidal
Al = 12000nH
This core are acceptable for my circuit? What the principal gain or losses in relation with the other core with low Al ?
