Fedora 7 for linux device driver study

Hi

IS Fedora 7 suitable for studying Linux device Drivers ?
and if it's not , Do you recommend any other distribution?

Yes. Fedora 7 comes with various software developing tools. You should also consider Ubuntu, easy to use for desktop PC.

You can use any Linux distribution if you want to. Just make sure that you have installed kernel source and that you have gcc compiler installed too.

But I have downloaded Java Disk top linux but I couldn't find text editors for SW development , or kernel source in the distribution.
