I am trying to get the DRC check in Cadence Virtuoso for a design synthesised using Synopsys Design Compiler but I am constatntly getting the error Failed to find DRC rules divaDRC.rul. I have checked the path and the file is present there. But I fail to understand why I am getting this error

Hi,
I have the same problem. the DRC rules are store in a file named: "calibreDRC.rul" in the folder: ncsu_basekit/techfile/calibre. The error message is "Failed to find DRC rules divaDRC.rul". I am wondered if the problem comes from the design kit?
Please feel free if there is any idea or suggestion.

"Failed to find DRC rules divaDRC.rul"

Check:
  • is the folder accessible and the rules file readable?
  • perhaps the rules file is just a link?
  • if so, can the link be resolved, i.e. is the file -- which it points to -- present and readable?
