Explanation of the retiming process

Retiming

Retiming is a process of rearranging the storage elements in a synchronous circuit -- without altering the combinational logic -- in order to optimize the circuit's performance.

And retiming will some combinational logic after the FF before FF, vice verse.

You need more constranits when you do formal check if you retiming your design by tool.
