seed [hlp]

Hello Everyone;
What is the meaning of seed in MATLAB?

seed [hlp]

The random number generation algorithms need a number to base the Random Number generation. This is called the seed. A given seed value results in a random number or a series of random numbers. If you change the seed you get a different set of random numbers. Certain negative prime numbers are supposed to give better set of random numbers than others.
