Re: Libraries for Cells

Hi srpatel9,

The next state functions are typically seen in sequential cells and is used to describe the next state of the output with the trigerring event(Clock).

The footprint attribute is given to put cells of the same family in the same group. This enables the capability of swapping out or replacing cells of the same family when optimizing. Typically cells of the same functionality but different drive strength have the same footprint.

Hope this helps!

Thanks!
