Electrolytic capacitor lifetime below rated temperature?

You would have to contact Nichicon to verify that. Certainly they would last longer at lower temperatures but the exact deterioration rate proably isn't very predictable. Even Nichicon, one of the Worlds most renowned capacitor manufacturers only specify the value will not have changed up or down by more than 25% at the end of life period. It's interesting they quote the value may have increased over that period, I would have thought it would only reduce as electrolyte dried out.
