hello,
soon all "easy access" oil is going to run out (close to the ground surface).
we have passed "peak oil" (www.peakoil.com)
we will then use electric cars, powered by batteries which are charged up from a electricity wall socket which in turn is supplied by nuclear power station.
however, whichever country you are from, consider tens of millions of people getting home at 6pm and then plugging their electric cars in to re-charge.
No national grid electrical network could handle this, -and would fail -resulting in complete loss of electrical supply.
is every country now doomed?
we surely all recognise that this car re-charging scenario represents a absolutely vast increase in requirement of electrical supply networks.?
