Effect of Square wave inverter

Hi everyone,
I have a square wave inverter which I recently constructed, but I am afraid to use it to power my laptop. Please, I want to know how the square wave voltage will affect the power pack of the laptop. Is it going to damage it? or is it safe for use with laptop's power pack?

Safe operation can be expected for all kinds of SMPS. But a DC/DC converter (car adapter) would achieve higher efficiency with less weight and volume.
