Hi guys
I ordered the below SMA. However, their data sheet does not agree with the size I saw from the real devices or existing packages from others. Any suggestions?
At the bottom right, the data for foot print does not looks right to me,
they are recommmend 0.1 between foots. However, the real devices seems to have 0.2 which is much longer than 0.1. ALso previous package from eager website seems to have a distance of 0.2 inch too instead of 0.1 inches.
Any suggestions?

The best thing to do is buy one and look at it. I guess it is to slot over the edge of a PCB in which case the centre pad is on the opposite side to the outer two. So it would be 0.2" between the outer two pads, but I may be misreading it.
Do you mean from center to the outside pad is 2x0.1"? This looks right.
However, in the picture, it looks like they said the distance is 0.1" between center pin and outside pin.

I am going by the drawing - you cannot infer anything from the photograph. The drawing of the part is fairly clear and shows 0.1" from the centre pin to the edge pins. The easiest way to check is to buy one - always a good idea before you make a PCB when dealing with new components.
I just measure it. It is 0.1 inch. However, some of our previous order does have a distance of 0.2 inch. But I can not find the part number.
I also saw different SMA kinds on digikey, their price varies a lot, what is the difference there?

I just measure it, the data is right. I also found some SMA connected to the chip which have a distance of 0.2 inches. Will it make a difference? Will different SMA make a difference?

The Emerson 142-0701-851 has a 3/8" flange instead of the usual 1/4". But the center to outer pin distance also isn't 0.2" with these devices, it's about 0.167".The Digikey photo is showing a standard size connector, by the way.

The larger connectors can stand a slightly higher torque without damaging the PCB, but I would prefer the industry standard.
