fabmaster.ulp

Is there any way to get an Eagle design converted to Altium Designer?

Even if I will have to go via another program that will be acceptable.

orcad import unidat

Altium Designer can import Orcad PCB (.MAX), PADS ASCII PCB (.ASC), and PCAD PCB (.PCB). If you can get your design into one of those formats, you can do a direct import.

An alternative would be to output Gerber, drill, and IPC-D-356A from Eagle. You could then reverse engineer the board into Altium Designer from the CAMTASTIC Editor. There is a PDF document in the help files installed with Altium Designer that describes how to reverse engineer.

altium designer import eagle

you can choose eagle\file\run\unidat.ulp or fabmaster.ulp
generate *.fab or *.uni, input to camcad,
convert to pads\protel...

For schematics, try **broken link removed**

For PCBs, try **broken link removed**

As these are User Language Programs I can not vouch for their quality.

I have personally used the eagle-protelpcb.ulp with good success, but only on simple (2-layer) designs.
