ECP programming

HI EDA,
i want to know if the parallel port ecp mode programming requires any external interface.
My mother board is a new Abit.

ECP programming

This is a very useful method, I am designing a data acquisition system based on parallel port.
which protocal is easy to implement, SPP,EPP,ECP?

Re: ECP programming

I think Ecp is best Epp is difficult to use and spp has no bidierctional capbilites.
