Design of wideband frequency synthesizer

How to design a moderate performance wideband frequency synthesizer from 4.2 gHz to 7.5 Ghz. At least approach would go a long way in helping me!
 

Channel sacing 10 mhz, vco range as required by the application.
 

Look for VCO designs (LC-VCO) with switching Caps of LC Tank and also u get Wide band if variable Resistor inseries with Cap of the Tank. I previously had paper on this , but presently iam unable to find it

It's a chanllage for VCO.
