My question is simple:

how can I draw with cst MWS an ellipsoid or a paraboloid???
Do I have to draw it with matlab first?
Thank you very much.

it is easier to draw in hfss and importing in cst

Hi mer,
You can create the baselines using the macro: "Construct->2D curve", and then sweep the curve around an axis to create the required 3d body.

Good luck,
P.

Hi mer_

First draw thin solid ellipse then draw little cone few mm from it.
Now pick the faces in these objects and use loft. That's all.

if you can use the function in 3D:
I am also trying to do exp on Ellipsoid

build the ellipse first.
and build x=0
y=sint
z=cost

then use sweep funtion

but I only get the 'empty egg'
