I have a impulse response in the form h(n) = sin(pi(n-0.15))/(pi(n - 0.15)) , this impulse response can be truncated, windowed, and delayed , truncate just multiple with window function , the problem is how many delay should be used ? Is there any formula ?

This may be a language barrier, but I think it would help if you clarify the delay measurement. Are you looking for seconds or some other measure?
To me, this looks like a phase problem. Do you want the output signal to be in or out of phase with the input signal?
