DC error: Out of memory(2900000KB used)

Hi all,
When I use DC to flatten my SoC netlist, the DC says ' Out of memory(2900000KB used)' and logs out, though my system have 8GB of RAM. What the matter with it, and how to fix it, I really confuse with this situation, help me?!

that's because the limit memory for DC is 2.9G -3.9 G. you can modify your script by take out the verify option. after finish with Dc, your can use formality to verify

may be file count exceeds.

you are using the 32-bit version of DC, try using the 64-bit version instead.

hi,
first your platform maybe 32 bit os, so pls update to 64bit os. and then, dc is not capable to handle very bit design, pls just use bottom up methodolody. not top-down
