Hi,
The output rating of my CT is 100 mv/amp. I need to measure current from 0 to 1 amps. So when 1 amp current flowing the output of CT will be 100 mv AC signal. But i need to interface this with A/D in pic microcontroller. Since this is 100 mv 50 hz signal the conversion is not proper. Since this amplitude is too small i cant able to use bridge rectifier to convert this to DC and measure.

What should i do to interface CT with the A/D module of pic microcontroller?

Thanks,
Murugesh

U have to find the rms value of the signal
increase the sampling to 250 to 300 time for 100ms sampler one reading
multiply the obtained result and square root the mean value to get rms value
