Hello,

I am looking for the component UPD4701 from NEC but is very difficult to buy.

The description of the device is: "The mPD4701A is a counter for an X, Y 2-axis incremental encoder. When a two-phase encoder signal is input for the X and Y axes, direction discrimination and computation is performed"

The datasheet: **broken link removed**

Somebody can explain to me where I can buy this device or one alternative component?

Thanks!!
