when doing a corner simulation ,i met a problem .

ERROR found by spectre during initial setup

ERROR (SPECTRE-4080): there are no componets in the circuit.

i just want to know how this problem occurs and the solutions to it..

thx in adv..

I am not acquainted with spectre.

A simulator generally expects to find certain things:

A ground somewhere in your circuit.

No plain wire directly connecting a supply and ground.

A node can only be made at the ends of wires. A node cannot occur in the middle of a wire.

Capacitors sometimes create an error if no resistor is installed in series somewhere.
