Conversion from Pads to Orcad Layout plus

pads to orcad conversion

Hi Folks,

Is it possible to Convert the pcb design file from Pads to Orcad Layout plus?

Any suggestion from anyone?

I am not sure directly PADS to orcad conversion.

Round about is, PADS to ALLEGRO & ALLEGRO to ORCAD. I have done several PADS to ALLEGRO conversion ti works fine.

there is translators available for schematic from PADS to Orcad but noway to Layout from the same.

there are translators to convert orcad schematic to pads. but for layout noway.but low version of PADS export file works for orcad layout. then you open in layout plus.previous post i gave reverse.sorry.

I think you can use pads---specctra---orcad.
For allegro, there are no way to translate to orcad, only specctra,
so pls try it.. I have done some ORCAD layout ,but it's difficult to
do the layout process, if possible, pls don't use that tool for layout ,
pads and allegro should be the good guys for you.
