I have a design which I synthesized on 45 nm library. I am trying to compare timing of my design with another design which was 90nm library. Is there any way I can compare the two data. If not, can anyone tell me if there is a approx. multiple value of the timing numbers.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Compare timings of two designs synthesized on diff libra

It would be great , if ur question is specific

what do u want to compare ? timing , power, noise , IR drop, congestion ?

if you are trying to compare 2 libraries ? , then most simple way would be
1. create db from lib
2. read design
3. attach/link it to 2 diff libraries & dump out their respective timing, area , power reports

This is just a simple way, there are whole lot of others ways to compare them.

i am just trying give an direction for you , please dont take this alone as a solution.
