I'm evaluating soft-processors for hard real-time use (without an OS).
The obvious choises will be either Nios II or Microblaze - but I have taken them out of the equation as I want the system to be completely platform independent.

My current candidates are:

1. OpenRISC 1200/2000
2. LEON 3/4

What do you think about my choise ?
If you have any different suggestions, feel free to share.
