Leakage is measured in Watt.
Why Dynamic Power is measured in Joule ? (Watt * Time ).

sorry a power is always in watt (V * A).
1 joule is 3600 watt-hour.

and the liberty file only reports A.
and backend tools (Synthesis, PnR) reports in Watt.

where did you see in Joule?

correction: 1 watt hour = 3600 J

Layowblue,

Thanks for correction .
1 watt hour = 3600 J .

RCA,

Agree that Power is measured in Watt.
But I have seen in Datasheet , Power in J .

I believe Dynamic Power is measured in J (Not in all cases , but this is valid)
Here you calculate Energy per transition.

This is my assumption ,need to clarify :)
