Hi,
Kindly tell me. what is the output of camera like is it in the form of analog signal(as we get in voice). how do the micro-controller recognized the camera output?
so that i can display it on graphical lcd, where it will compare the image is matched or not.

It could be a 'Composite Signal'. Use a scope to determine it.

Hi

Camera interface can be analog (video signal - PAL ,NTSC etc) or digital depend on your camera module

If you are using analog (mostly one analog line) you will need to convert it to digital signal using video decoder IC(see TI site for video decoders)

If you are using digital module (most likely) you will need a min of 12 signals to connect to the micro(8 data +4 control & sync)

The AVR micro is to slow to process digital video signals (most of the software need to written in assembly language)

See & search Circuit-Cellar mag they have publish an article on AVR and digital video who include source code & schematic

All the best
