Hi,

I have designed a layout using Cadence Virtuoso and I'm trying to export it in a .lef file in order to be able to use my cell with Encounter.
The export ends "successfully", however all technology layers are exported but no MACRO for my cell.
A Warning is printed :
*Warning* No cell list to process, check for legal cell types.

I have created a .list file with my library name, my cell name and "layout" view.

Has anyone any idea of what I have done wrong ?

Thanks in advance.

I was told that I must create an abstract from my layout, and then I will be able to create a .lef file from the abstract.

I can not manage to have any documentation about the abstract generation, has anyone got tutorial or something ?
