Cadence ic5033 problem with layout view

cadence ic5033 help

i have installed cadence ic5033 under redhat 9
it can run and simulation
but ,i find there are some problem about layout
if i create a layout view, and invoke the layout view in other layout view.
in the other layout view the low level layout view is just a red block and can't see any layer.
why ? how to solve?

SHIFT+F / CTRL+F
It switches Display Levels (Options/Display or easy 'E' key)
