build microcontroller

I'm trying to build a circuit using a PIC microcontroller to convert the analog signal from a microphone.

PIC microcontroller decide to use: PIC16F873A. Compiler: MPLAB
(Is PIC16F873A suitable for this kind of project? Or PIC16F877A?)

Objective:
Light up an LED & activate the DC motor if the sound level is above a certain dB (Need to differentiate at lease 2 different level of dB).
(Only use 1pc. of PIC16F873A/ PIC16F877A without any other IC, is it feasible?)

Draft Flow Chart:
Microphone---> Amplifier---> PIC---> LED/ DC Motor
(This flow correct?)

And please help to find the schematic diagram based on the above project that I intending to do... Thanks in advance!

... no body going to help... i totally don't have idea...hopefully can get a reference...

Who able to show me the simple circuit diagram regarding this project?

How to raise a DC voltage (for example, from 1.5v to 3v)? And what component should use? Thanks!
