BER Test time cost for High speed serial interfaces like MIPI MPHY, USB3, ...etc

Hi,
Anybody knows how BER testing time of serial interface translates to money ?
BER test time is very long due to large number of bits sent. This means long test time and certainly this should have some impact on cost.
I would like to know the relation between BER test time and money.
