before everything be sure that it would communicate with at commands!
then most kind's of handsets have common at commands
i suggest using t28 at commands pdf file that was really suitable for me!
search for it in google with this words: t28 at command

yes it support AT commands i am trying to write message in hyper terminal but i dont know the format of AT+CMGW command although x700 support it i havent any documentation from where i get help no help on net regarding to samsung AT commands.

as before i said nearly all cammands are the same in sony ericsson or samsung
or nokia for example how to use this command is the same!
because they follow ETSI standards!
after you have written at+cmgf=1 then the modem has answered with ok
show's that it supports text message it is very simple ,
i send a file that have all details about that just repeat the stages in the file !

i copy paste this thing from notepad to hyperterminal

AT+CMGS="+923225387571"

and it become like this in hyper terminal

AT+CMGS=25387571

it works and give me prompt > to write my message when i write my message it appears like that

> loo (i write heloo it eats h and e )

ok i write my message and press ctrl+z nothing happens no message send and no response from mobile

i cant understand plz help thanks

with such errors that have been occured it would take us some time to be able to
solve this problem , in this stage of the work i feel that there are some points that you sould know such( the end of string options )or (the kind of the responses of the modem) but for good accordance i should send you a software for trancieving data with serial ports to options of the software be familier for me and can better analyse errors !
it needs about 3 Mbytes of size!
write your email to send it!
