coupled feed antenna

Can someone tell me why, does a capacitive coupled fed antenna has more bandwidth than a straight fed (inductive fed) antenna.

capacitively fed antenna

Any ideas guys?

capacitively coupled antennas

If u take a stacked patch configuration bottom patch is directly connected to a coaxial feed but the top patch is capacitive coupled. both the patches are very close in size so their resonance also very close to each other . these resonance combined and give the large bandwidth.
