Interesting article:

How it is a little bit over simplified. It is really hard to design any complex digital circuits with open-source EDA. Lack of verification tools and design kit is the main headache.

Yes, It is the fate of such our poors :cry:

But, Remember:

Magic is alive from 1980 upto now, it like a miracle in the age of information!!
Magic's online (background) Design Rule checking (DRC) facility is a promising feature.
