Hi All,

I am looking for a distance learning course for Analog/RF IC design, course which will give me an opportunity to get hands on experience of Industry standard tools like cadence or synopsys.

I have 3 year experience of RF design (board level) and I would like to move to IC design field.

I would appreciate your help if you guide me towards right direction.

Thanks

V

Hi V,

there are several institute which are providing the distance learning course. you can check it on google. But As I am in this field from last 5 year, Its my experirnece that that will not help you a lot. You can search an institute in your city or may be any personal tutor who can help you to understand the basics. And then you can go which any crash course.
Since you are already in RF design (board level), so getting a job in industry is not so difficult but you have to prove your self.

Thanks,
Puneet

Birdy,

Well, we can see some big school like stanford offer its main RFIC course for graduate students online!!!! but anyway i think your advice is valuable and should be considered.

would you please provide books for one who wants to master the RF/MIC design??!!, given that he is with strong RF circuit background on discreet level.

Thank you!
