Altera fpga epcs1 programming question

Hello everybody

i've got a question about programming with quartus 2, my fpga:

To program the fpga through jtag mode isn't a problem but
i'm trying to program the Epcs1 but it won't work, i'm programming trought the byteblaster 2, can anyone tell me how to program the epcs1? its my first time so

select .pof file to program ur serial flash(epcs).....n if required to program ur fpga, directly use .sof file.. go through this link....'ll help u

@ first, thanks for your reaction,

i've created the pof file in quartus and then i'm getting this problem with quartus2:

Can't recognize Silicon id for device 1.

i checked my epcs1, and there's power on it etc.
what could be the problem?

in ur programmer window (quartus2- tool- programmer)

1. do byteblaster setting properly....if u dono serach 4 altera pdf
2. check ur cable connection
3. check mark in program/configure box
4. select mode active serial...etc.etc.....search altera pdf....u'll get it...

all those things are correct. programming with jtag also works correct and the fpga works correct, the only problem is the epcs1. it still gives that error. i 'dont know what it could be, is maybe my epsc1 broken?
