AES on 8 bit micro controller

Hi,

In one of our applications based on 8 bit micro's we decided to used the AES Advanced Encryption System.
we get a ready made lite implementation.
The problem is that the decryption algorithm take very long time, few minutes.
also the encryption and decryption algorithm consumes the RAM.


My Question is if there's any reference Implementation for AES on 8 bit microcontrollers?

I appreciate if anyone share his experiance with AES on 8 bit micros
