hi..
i'm making a password protected door that stores different passwords for different users. the passwords are stored in the eeprom memory of the pic and an old password can be changed. what i want now is to be able to add new passwords (for new users) to the system using a 4x3 keypad (using push button switches). i want to know if it's possible to do so and how.

thanks!

This is a homework, isn't it? Anyway, i think you already answered your question. You already have the mechanism to change password, so adding new password should be similar but you are adding new data instead of overwriting but the catch is access right to add new user.
