Hi All,
Plz tell me what is the appropriate interface circuit to interface ADC to a personal computer. The objective is - the output of ADC should be read as input by the C-program in PC.
Plz help me by sending few detailed circuits.

Regards.

you can use a micro controller to read adc value and it serially to the PC...
or there are serial ADC's available that you can directly interface to the PC via serial port....
such as MAX11102, MAX11103, etc...

Hi,

I have made a similar project. The Device is a AVR ATmega32 running a firmware which responds to requests from a PC. The interface is UART with a USB to UART bridge CP2102 on PC side.

The PC side software Visualize data in form of a graph using GDI

Hope this helps.
