ADC problem

Hi all friend
athe perfect ADC has a missing code. i.e. DNL = -1. What is the INL of this
converter?

ADC problem

It depends. The INL is the cumulative sum of the DNL, so you cannot really say what the INL is going to be if you do not know more.

Re: ADC problem

for this figure

ADC problem

Approximately -2.5. That ADC is far from perfect...

INL (at each code) approximately

0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7
0.5 0 0.2 -0.8 0.7 1.0 1.5 2

loos like the max INL error is around 2, its either +2 or -2 depending on if you define INL to be Ideal - your ADC ouptut , or ADC output - Ideal
