Hi All,

My first post in this forum. This monitor cannot power up. External power supply is confirmed OK. I have been searching for a replacement mainboard at Ebay but no luck. What could be the common cause of failure for this monitor ?

Thanks in advance.

Pin 1 of U705 (MP1584EN) is shorted to ground. ZD702 is OK as I have desoldered it and measured. D701 is not connected i.e. open. Is this normal ?

Just to add, D701 is not connected i.e. open.

I manage to source a compatible main board and inverter board and cables. Since it's only compatible in electrical and firmware, the menu is different and dimension is different too. So, need to retrofit so that the new board can fit.
Thanks.
