Hi~~

Reference voltage can be forced from the external instrumenet. However, reference voltage is gerenerated internally in many published papers. What consideration about refernce voltage? Please help me!!

Re: About "reference voltage" in the pipelined ADC

Hi,

up to my knowledge this is done so that reference follows the supply voltage of ADC's

Hope this helps!

Thanks

Re: About "reference voltage" in the pipelined ADC

it depends on the full scale range of ur ADC

Regards

Re: About "reference voltage" in the pipelined ADC

reference voltage can be taken from external device or you can use some internal circuit.

it depends on your specs and features you want to provide for you r adc.

but if you use an internal circuit then you need to check its quality also, it should be invarient with respect to temperature and supply voltages.

When you use reference voltage which need have more accurary, you can do some trimming in it.
