About MOSFET switch problem

Not so u will need 1 port 8 pin and port2 4 pins
its multiplexed and easy easy easy... all u need to do is output info from port 1 appropriate for first 7 seg but it will go to all 7 segs next enable 7 seg 1 from port 2, next output info appropriate for next 7 seg enable next 7 seg prom port 2 and so on...
I see the ic haus link but cant make out what mcu u using...if must understand posting full info ...intention of using mcu and mcu info will save many many unnecessary posts .

Thanks for the info. But what if I have more than 4 digit of 7 segment character? What if I have 10 digits? So, I think using a shift register would be more flexible.
