Hello all,
I encountered a lot of cable and terminals in work. But there is so many types of the terminals, I can't figure out where to and how to use them with appropriate cable. Could anyone give me some guideline or directive handbook or something like that?
P.S. I had browsed the website such as www.amp.com. But had no idea yet.:-(
Thanks in advance.

For sizes, wires, etc etc refer to electric standards.
Short guideline you can find here:
https://www.dot.ca.gov/hq/eqsc/QualityStandards/Electric/Electric_pdf/Electric.pdf
For cable terminals (crimp terminals, insulated, uninsulated, ...) refer to companies that sell this stuff (example RS Components, find your region and use key words such as "crimp terminal" or similar..). They usually have a lot of types of terminals and have catalogues and data sheet on the offered products.
regards,
IanP
