A question about Library

Who can tell me the widespread library provider?
I only know ARTISAN...

A question about Library

Faraday & Virage Logic. A lot of other foundrys have their own in house cell libraries.

Re: A question about Library

Artisan is taken over by ARM & is th e leading I would say No-1 in Std cell library dev. Other Std cell developers are Virage logic, I've heard of some European company known as Dolphin I'm not sure though, however so many big giants in industry such as Intel, TI, Qualcomm, ST, Freescale etc. they also have their own Std cell groups also so many foundaries such as TSMC & Japanese fabs have their own library development teams:| market is very huge so there are so many

Re: A question about Library

so now we can have some providers?

Re: A question about Library

As far my knowledge, all the foundaries will provide libraries.. Some big companies have their Lib development team to create the lib..

dont have much idea about who are all developing & giving libraries.

Re: A question about Library

ARM acquired artisan provides libraries for almost all the foundries available. Virage Logic, dolphin are also major providers with variations avaialble. TSMC provides its brand of standard cell libraries for lower geometry nodes like 65nm and 45nm.

As a side note i am promoting the launch of a new website www.rtl2gates.com.

Thanks
