Hello

I want to design a good filter at 150MHZ before LNA(between ANT and LNA)

the needed bandwidth is about 7MHZ ,order 5

Please help me to find a software or pdf for design it.

I checked FILTER SOLUTIONS, but it generates filters(LC passive) that are not exactly 50 ohm In/Out and have very high insertion loss.and the values are not 10% or 5% standard!

before LNA filter loss must be very low.

I'm using ADS.

here is an example of filter for your application:

@rancohen, you're not serious with that filter are you?

Try the topology from the attached picture. The middle capacitor adjusts the bandwidth.

to Both:
Is the In/Out Impedance 50 OHM at 150MHZ ?
Is IL is about 0.5dB at 150MHZ?

I have ADS2006 but did not worked with it ,in which menu of it I can find the filter design wizard?

u can find the flter design in design guides menu

i have used it alot , and give a good results

but u need to place a smart component ,

khouly

What is your requirement max of insertion loss?

less than 1 dB is good.

khouly :

I did not find any filter design tool in the sub menus of "Design Guides" menu, please give me deeper layersa and submenus to find filter designer tool in ADS2006.
