Difference between ICC( IC Compiler) and ICC2 (IC Compiler 2)

I know that ICC2 is a newer than ICC, but what are the major differences when we are doing say Partitioning, Planning, Placement, , Clock Tree Synthesis, Routing, and Timing Closure. So if I were to use ICC instead of ICC2 where would I be lacking or how would it affect the design? Also, if anyone has a small tutorial guide on ICC2 or manual, please link me if you could.

Thanks!

They are very similar, just go with ICC2 if you have the license. Especially if you will be working with advanced nodes, you always need the features of the newest versions.
