Hi all,
is it possible to use the autorouting feature in an analog layout in Cadence IC6.1.3.500?
If the answer to my question is yes, can you suggest me how to execute this function?
Thank you,
doec

I have to admit I do not have 613 anymore so can't provide detailed info but to answer your question - yes you can use autoroute - but the results are not good.
I sometimes use autoroute for non critical nets and then after the routing is done I manually clean them up. It is a bit faster but ends up as pain so usualy don;t use it.
If you want to play with it a bit - go to Virtuoso Xl and then look at route an optimize menuse and play arround. Depending on PDK setup you might be able to use it imediately or you might have to add some rule infot to techfile.

Thank you, I found the way.
Really it is not optimized but it could work in some situations.
