In simulating simple nmos vco i get error msg
Code:
Signal V(L0.nt1p2) = 1.00305 GV exceeds the blowup limit for the quantity `V' which is (1 GV). It is likely that the circuit is unstable. If you really want signals this large, set the `blowup' parameter of this quantity to a larger value.

This happens when i trying to increase the inductance in LC tank.

How i can change 'blowup' parameter in cadence spectre?

Thanks for advance.

Hello)
Your problem is not in "blowup" parameter. Either it is 1GV, or 1MV - these quantities are too large for analog any electrical circuit:) Such messages usually appear when you have wrong setup and use ideal components - trying feed closed transistor with idc current source, for example. I' d recommend you to make transient simulation with conservative parameters setup. More information is needed.
Regards.

I have already used simulation with conservative parameters setup and i got the same result.

This problem only occurs with inductance value over 3.3 nH.

Hi, you may forget to illustrate the unit for the very element.
E.g. if you set the MIM cap's width as 28 M rather than 28u M, it will exceeds the blowup limit.
