power compiler rtl2saif

Hi All;

I am trying to optimize my design using Power Compiler (Synopsys) and looking for Power Compiler' Usermanual and Tutorials. It seems to be not available in this forum and Synopsys site as well.

Could anyone give me some advices?

Many thanks in advance.

Hi Bjbhargav;

Thank you very much for your suggestion. I also have voted "helped" to you.
I also found a link related to this issue:
http://asic-soc.blogspot.com/2007/10/power-planning.html

But now I am facing an error in my first line script:
/*my script*/
power_preserve_rtl_hier_names = TRUE
analyze ...
elaborate ...
rtl2saif -output "my_design.RT.saif" -design "my_design"

And DC said: "you have not set environment variable power_preserve_rtl_hier_names to TRUE, rtl2saif is not excuted"

My doubt is that problem is in license, I can not use Power Compiler. I am using Design Visual. Could anyone help me to check ?

Thank you very much!

may be you use TCL mode.
so use 'set' instead of '='.
