i m having problem about selecting project as VLSI for a DSP apllication
and is related to orthogonal filter structre using CORDIC rotation algorithm
is this topic is too heavy for me
kindly suggest what should i do?

if you have ieee papers access
you can get good amount of papers there
for u r subject
so that you can search and start the work on.
from my point of view this topic is a novel one and much research is needed still there so
push u r self hard to get success
