esd layout

Hi all

I have to layout a mosclamp for a bondpad. I would like to know the preliminaries required for ESD protection layouts.
Also , does anybody know any method of mapping the different layers from one technology to another of the same fab ??
Your suggestions would be highly appreciated. Also, please upload useful layout info if any.

Hi Swathi,

For ESD and IO, most people follow the guidelines in PDK.

For mapping layers in Cadence u have 'migrate' tool.
